Translation can damage the reusable parts
A message is not just prose. Vehicle, customer, store, and employee placeholders must survive translation exactly or the template stops being reusable—and may surface an unresolved token to staff.
Lock the structure while the language changes
The translation flow masks placeholders, restores them after translation, retains the original view, records language metadata, and invalidates cached template views across browser tabs.
- Placeholders are protected
- Original and translated views remain available
- Language metadata travels with the template
- Cross-tab invalidation prevents stale copies
The result is a draft the employee can review
The employee sees a localized starting point without giving up the strategy or merge-field structure that made the original template useful.
Current limit
Translation depends on configured backend services and remains a Pioneer preview. Final production release evidence was incomplete at the dated handoff, and staff review remains required.
